He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Pierce Bembry; his son Loren Eugene Bembry, Jr.; his parents, R. J. Bembry and Alice Belotte Bembry; and his siblings, J. T., Rufus, Carl, Johnny, Leslie, Loyd Bembry, Isola Fiedler and Alice Crawford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Hobbs (John) of Glen St and Susan Lynn Bembry (Curtis Watson) of San Mateo; his grandchildren, Bryan Hobbs (Lily), Jason Johns (Catie), Justin Johns, Geri Hobbs and Lauren Hicks (Nick); and his brothers, Raymond Drew Bembry of Alachua, Fla. and Bill Bembry (Clara) of High Springs, Fla.. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
