She was predeceased by: her husband Jack B. Higens. She is survived by: her children, Steven M. Higens (Karen) and Suzanne Hayes (Robin); her grandchildren, Josh, Katie, Kristen, Caleb Higens, Amanda Rewis (Tom), Lauren E. Hayes-Helms and Philip A.; her children, Justin, Dalton, Hunter and Kendall; and also, Hudson Helms, Ruby Helms, Chelsey Barber, Cade Rewis and Josh Higens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of their mother, Lois C. Higens, to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
