He was predeceased by: his daughter Krystle Gay Padgett; and his father Joe Padgett. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Louise (Harris); his wife Rita Y. Padgett of Maxville; his daughters, Krystina Barton (J. R.) of Maxville and Kasandra Griffis (Wesley) of Maxville; his brother Darryl Padgett (Deborah); and his grandchildren, Jasmin and Zoey Barton.
