She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gay and Antoinette Gay (Walker); her sister Shirley Smith; and her husband David Garey. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Gilbert of Macclenny, Sandra Guess (Zonnie) of Glen St and Johnnie Lee Gilbert Jr. of Bryceville; her stepdaughters, Elizabeth Harvill of Glen St and Julie Combs of Glen St; and her grandchildren, Lacie Carter, Kasie Grissett, Mathiew Carter, Brooklyn Gilbert, Ashlyn Gilbert, Dallas Gilbert and Ceara Gilbert. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
