He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Brantley; his daughter Pamela Sue Brantley; and his parents, Charles Brantley and Violet Brantley. He is survived by: his children, James Eugene Brantley, Jr. of Portugal, Jeffrey Allen Brantley of Jacksonville, Rodney Leon Brantley of Jacksonville, Kathy Hagan (Bob) of Glen St and Donald Brantley (Amanda) of Macclenny; and his siblings, Kay Chiaro of Indiana, Dick Brantley of Walkerton and Kent Brantley of Kokomoo Lake. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
