It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Bryant Wilkerson of Macclenny, Florida, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Etta (Crews) and Jake O. Bryant; her siblings, Robert, George, David Jr., Lonnie Bryant and Kay; her daughter Shirley Wilkerson; and her son-in-law Weir Barton.
She is survived by: her children, Hugh Wilkerson (BJ) of Glen St and Barbara Barton of Macclenny; her siblings, Jimmy, Curtis, Roland Bryant, Carol Covington, Mary Ann Whitehead, Leona Griffis and Dot Smith; and her grandchildren, Stewart, Tiffany, Rhoda, Ethan and Hannah. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
