We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2023, at the age of 80, Gloria E. Godwin (Macclenny, Florida), born in Jacksonville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Lester and Ollie Mae Cannon (Bornstein); her brothers, Nathan Cannon and Bruce Cannon; her daughter Jeannie Marie Godwin; and her grandsons, Brandon "Bucket" Godwin and Corey "Dagan" Godwin-Parks.

She is survived by: her sons, Bill Godwin of Maxville, Keith Godwin (Renee) of Live Oak and Bryan "Bubby" Padgett Godwin of Tennessee; her siblings, Mike Cannon of Maxville and Helen Austin (Wilbur) of Lawtey; and her grandchildren, Terri, Kristy, Jason, Jamee and Haley. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
