He was predeceased by: his father Walter Hurd; his siblings, John Hurd, Eva Mae Tate, Ruth Bishop (Walter) and Harold Dean Hurd; and his son Kenneth Hurd.
He is survived by: his wife Frankie Hurd (Heaton) of Glen St; and his sons, Richard Hurd (Tammy) of Jacksonville and David Hurd (Beth) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and close friends.
