He is survived by: his wife Linda Carter of Macclenny, FL; his children, April Nelson of Macclenny, FL, Tammy Hodges of Macclenny, FL, Misty Miller (Ron) of Macclenny, FL and Joseph Carter (Sina) of Pioneer, TN; his siblings, Mike Carter (Pat) of Jacksonville, FL, Steven Carter of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Cathy Taylor of Georgetown; his sister-in-law Susan Carter; his grandchildren, Cassandra Guajardo, Andrew Guajardo, Zachary Harvey, Benjamin Hodges, Lucas Hodges, Darrin Hodges, Marissa Miller, Mason Miller (Amber), Allie Cooler, Skye Miller, Danielle Nelson, Auston Nelson, Karissa Nelson, Anthony Carter and Alizabeth Carter; and his great grandchildren, Clayton, Rhett Miller and Harper Hodges.
