He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius William and Polly Long (Parnell); and his brother Ronald Long. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Long (Geiken); his children, Sandra Eversole (Dan), Eric Long and Shannon Williams (James); and his sister Nell Pendleton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
