It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Eugene Jensen of Lynn Haven, Florida, born in Panama City, Florida, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Algot Graham and Loah Maxine Jensen; and his brother Wayne Jensen. He is survived by: his wife Karen Davis Jensen; his sons, Alfred Jensen (Jessica), Chad Jensen and Keith Jensen; his stepchildren, Brad Newsome (Leah) and Denise Newsome; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Jensen, Brandon Newsome, Anzley Newsome and Amelia Newsome; and his brothers, Franklin Jensen (Cheryl) and Jack Jensen (Tina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Backpack Ministry at Hiland Park Baptist Church in memory of Gene Jensen.
