It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Lofton Day Jr. of Lynn Haven, Florida, born in Panama City, Florida, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel L. Day Sr. and Odessa Day; and his daughters, Elaine England and Tonya Mullins. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ericka Binz (Brad), Bradley Mullins and Evan Nobles (Steven); his great grandchildren, Thomas, Drew and Jack; and his brother John Day (Gloria). He is also survived by niece, nephews, aunts, and multiple cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
