He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Liz" Gilmer Freeman and Arthur "Lofty" Lewis Freeman; and his sister Mary Freeman Martin. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jonn-Luc, Elizabeth (Nick) and Benjamin; his nephews, Matthew (Jennifer), Wil and Kaden; his niece Sara; his wife Therese Devine Freeman; his son Daric Freeman (Mary Katharine); his stepson Alexander Hill (Kallie); his siblings, Kay Sauers (Robert), Frank Freeman (Naomi) and Estelle Lischalk (Steven Sincere); and his great-niece Kuni (Lew).
