It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wilburn McNiel of Lynn Haven, Florida, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera McNiel and L. O. McNiel; his brother L. E. McNiel; his wife Gloria McNiel; and his great grandchild Brady Medlock.
He is survived by: his son James Wilburn McNiel II; his grandchildren, Samantha Robinson (Trakell), Amanda Barbosa (Michael) and James Alan McNiel (Taira); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Medlock, Reginald McNiel, Leanna McNiel, Benjamin Barbosa, Rhett Robinson, Riley Robinson and Christopher Barbosa.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (214 Airport Rd, Panama City, FL 32405). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (3733 US-231, Panama City, FL 32404).
