He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Johnson and Edward Phelan; his children, Erik Phelan and Ashley Haney; and his sister Toni Auxier.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Phelan (Kilgore); his sons, Bradley Phelan (Rachel), Douglas Phelan (Jessie) and Spencer Phelan; his grandchildren, Bonnie Carter, Banner, Nathan, Vivian and Henry; his siblings, Allen Barnes (Linda), Dianne Youd, Jerry Johnson, Elizabeth, Lisa McCall (Randy) and John Johnson (Kimberly); his father-in-law Richard Kilgore; and his daughter-in-law Jenny Phelan.
