He was predeceased by: his father William E. Waldroff, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Ronald D. Austin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Waldroff; his daughters, Jessica Bennett and Jana Smeltzer (Phillip); his granddaughter Katelyn Bennett; his mother Mary Waldroff; and his siblings, Warren (Kathy), Tommy (Cindy), Mark (Margaret), Rebekah and Patsy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his memory.
