He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus C. Griffin and Florine Dingler Griffin; and his siblings, Albert Ray Griffin, Virginia Suttles and Mae Leisz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Roy Griffin, Patricia C. Williams, Lynn Haven and Mary A. Bush; his wife Marilyn J. H. Griffin; his sons, Michael R. Griffin, Steven E. Griffin of Southport, Bruce A. Griffin and Lynn Haven; and his grandchildren, Joshua M. Griffin, Hannah E. Griffin, Lynn Haven, Stephanie Malloy, Mariah Griffin, Cape Coral, Kasey Griffin and North Fort Myers. He is also survived by several Great- granddaughters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends there from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. His remains will be interred in the couple's companion mausoleum crypt at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. ln lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emerald Coast Hospice or Springfield Community.
