In loving memory of Bettye Mathis of Lynn Haven, Florida, born in Hammond, Louisiana, who departed this world on March 8, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband James Mathis; her parents, Albun Reeves and Mildred Reeves; and her brother Larry Don Reeves. She is survived by: her children, Bill Kohler of Wewahitchka, Florida and Juli Burch (Mike) of Crawfordville, Florida; her grandchildren, Kyle Kohler (Katie) of Columbia and Olivia Kohler; her great grandchildren, James Brantley Kohler and Madeliene Kohler; and her siblings, Barbara Neal and Ronnie Reeves.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hiland Park Baptist Church.
