He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Nowalk and John Knout; his brother Richard Nowalk (Carol); and his sister-in-law Karen Knout. He is survived by: his wife Krista; his children, Jeremey Knout (Jill), Kara Amici (Tim), Sheila Payne (Randy Longbine) and Chad Payne (Marie); his grandchildren, Jeremey, Madison, Hannah Knout, Brian Bartholomew, Jack Whyte, Jr., Riley Longbine, Brody Ferber and Miles Payne; and his brothers, Stuart Knout and Robert Ellis (Wendy Martin).
