He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Brannen Gaubatz; and his daughter Carol Roney. He is survived by: his children, Lizbeth Croft (James "Jimbo") of Lulu, FL and Gregg Gaubatz of San Francisco, CA; and his grandchildren, Jason Cypress (Syretta), Billy Marks (Angel), Malloree Roney, James William "Trace" Croft and Josie Croft. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
