He was predeceased by: his parents, Linc Howerton and Mittie Linton Howerton (late Peggy); and his brother Jesse. He is survived by: his wife Peggy O'Neal; and his children, Charles Howerton (Donna), Clinton Howerton Sr. (Patty), Cheryl Howerton Morris (Heath) and Cheri Hornsby (Robby). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
