We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Linda Gidel of Longboat Key, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Lombardo and Lucille Lombardo (Fausz). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Rob" Gidel; her children, Jill Smith (Brian), Allison "Ali" Lord (Jarrod) and Robert "Rob" Gidel Jr. (Jacqui); her grandchildren, Madison Smith, Sydney Lord, Lauren Smith, Caroline Lord, Zachary "Zach" Smith, Andrew Lord and Robert "Tre" Gidel III; her brother Drew Lombardo (Marilyn); her cousin Jerry Fausz (Carol); her mother-in-law Mary Gidel; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Gidel and Kathy Clark. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (http://cholangiocarcinoma.org), whose mission is to find a cure and improve the quality of life for those affected by cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).
