She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Eisberry Hill and Lillie Mae Martin Hill; her husband Reverend D. W. Bethune; her daughter Peggy Ann Becton; and her brothers, Virgil, Willie of Frank, K. V., Ertis Ray, Floyd and J. N. Hill.
She is survived by: her daughter Alice LeBlanc; her sisters, Paulette Farmer and Ila Faye Hill; and her grandchildren, Billy Alan Becton, Dawn Becton Yeager, Vicky A. Harmon and Jason H. LeBlanc. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
