He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thomas; his children, Laura Booze, Wilbur J. Thomas, III, Shintina Watts and Freddy Watts; his sister Rita Ogburn; and his grandchildren, Miranda Leigh Snow, Brandon Lee Willis, Brad Snow and Tae'Lynn Vicuna.
