He was predeceased by: his wife Winnell Boyd; and his sons, Jimmie Boyd and Walt Boyd. He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Bridges (Sara), Martin Boyd (Sarah), Billie Boyd (Michelle), Tracey Boyd (Rebecca) and Stacey Boyd (Duchess); his siblings, Elizabeth Barfuss, Bonnie Boyd, Charles Boyd and Shelton Boyd; and his daughter-in-law Alice Boyd. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
