It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Carl Murphy of Live Oak, Florida, born in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Douglas and Myrtle Marie Murphy (Balentine); his wife Virginia Louise Murphy; his daughter Teresa Travis Kirkpatrick; his grandson James Melvin Curry, III; his son-in-law Daniel "Danny" Watson; and his siblings, Ruth Bronson, Harold Murphy and Sheila Whaley.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Berndgen (Zack) of Havana, Travis Todd Murphy of Huntsville, Michell Watson of Live Oak, Jesse Chad Murphy (Melissa) of Santa Clarita, Tammy Murphy Robbins (Bobby) of Guntown, Shannon Murphy Curry (James) of Macclenny and Shawn Murphy of Live Oak; and his grandchildren, Jamie Watson Nobles (Brandon), Jordan Watson, Harley Mullins, Brett Murphy, Hope Robbins, Michael Curry, Madi Robbins, Megan Curry, Jamie Curry, Timothy Curry, Casey Curry and Mckenzie Curry. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and church friends.
