He was predeceased by: his brother John L. Cheek; and his father Thomas C. "Tom" Cheek Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine Cheek; his mother Martha Brown Cheek; his children, Sunny Streer (Jeffrey), Stormy Lee (Chris) and Thomas C. "Tom" Cheek, III; his siblings, Anna Montgomery (David) and Bill Cheek (Becky) of Weaverville, NC; and his grandchildren, Gracie, Cohen, Lucy, Tommy, Kaelyn and Jason.
