She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Townsend (Kris Silliven) of Live Oak, FL, Jason Townsend of Fayetteville, NC and Darrin Townsend (Melissa) of Chicago, IL; and her sister Rita Petersen (Mark). She is also survived by four grandchildren and her loving dog.
