He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schicker and Mildred Schicker; his brother Robert "Bob" Schicker; and his son Robert James. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Mardy; his grandchildren, Caden, Charlie and Frankie; and his sisters, Sandra Hernandez (Manuel), Kathy Harden (Mark) and Carol Alger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
