He is survived by: his wife Rachel A. Platt; his daughters, Katherine Jo Steinbach (Jeremy), Tylonna Dawn Spencer (James) of Belfast, TN and Amber Miller (Sean) of Memphis, TN; his siblings, Mary Ann Whitten of Raiford, FL and Edward Platt; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Lewis, Kaylie, Jacie, Brandon, Jamie, Peyton, Rebel and Jaysten. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
