He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathryn Freund of Live Oak, FL; his children, Theodore Williams, Emilia Menendez of Jacksonville, FL and Kari Hughes; and his siblings, Christopher Freund of Live Oak, FL, Peter Freund, Elizabeth Knight and Laura Amaral. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
