She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hurst and Mamie Hurst; her husband George Mitchell Kirkland, Jr.; her brothers, Leroy and Thomas Hurst; her son Mitch Kirkland; and her sisters, Neva Johnson and Faye Barrington.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Reppert (Keith) of Live Oak, FL, Debbie DeLoach (Carlton) of Rydal, GA and Jeff Kirkland (Gwen) of Live Oak, FL; and her sister-in-law Lavinia Hurst. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and Ninteen great grandchildren.
