He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hurst and Catherine Hurst; and his children, Bridgett Angela Hurst and Christopher Michael Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Tammie Hurst; his son Justin Alan Hurst; his sisters, Phyllis Florrie Smith (Ronnie) and Rachel "Cookie" Chavous (Jason); his sister-in-law Michelle Pyle; his brothers, Charles Hurst (Donna) and Wayne Hurst (Julie); and his grandchildren, Lathon Hurst, Teal Hurst and Keaton Hurst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
