She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Christie, Sr; her brothers, Ernest Griffis and Wallace Griffis; and her grandsons, Allen Conine and Nicholas Conine.
She is survived by: her children, Lorna Williams of Branford, Howard Christie, Jr. of Live Oak, Dewey Christie of Live Oak and Alton Christie of Live Oak; and her siblings, Juanita Chavarria of Darien and Wesley Griffis of Lake City. She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
