He is survived by: his wife Ednell Brown Newbern; his sons, Lavaughn Jr. "Len" and James Bradley; his grandchildren, Jack, Hamp and Rae Newbern; and his siblings, Jerry Newbern (Martha) and Linda Smith (Buddy).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Daniels (1126 Ohio Ave N, Live Oak, FL 32064). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
