Smith; her sister Barbara Ann Smith; her grandparents, Robert Lee, Dessie Smith and Glenn; her niece Debbie Wilkins; her nephew Matt Carey; her husband Curtis Carey; her mother Nanka Smith; her sister Gina Rawls (Perry); her cousin Michael Whittemore; her aunt Sis Whittemore; her cousin Glenda Fuller; her mother-in-law Betty Hodges; her brother-in-law Dennis Carey (Sara); and her nieces and nephews, Will, Katie Rose Rawls, Doug, Gretchen Wilkins, Ben and Jana Carey. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.

The family has also suggested that memorials be made to Live Oak First Baptist Church, 401 West Howard Street, Live Oak, Florida 32064.
