He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bracewell and Josephine Bracewell; and his siblings, Harold Bracewell, Henry Bracewell, Robert Bracewell, Nora Hatch, Agnes Brim, Myrtle Campbell and Vera Pittman.
He is survived by: his wife Bettye Bracewell; his daughters, Tina Allen (Lake City) and Tammy Bracewell of Oak Ridge, TN; his granddaughters, Ava and Adra Allen; his sister Doris Hagan (Jasper); his nephew Roger Henry (Jennings); and his stepmother Clara Baxter (Live Oak).
