We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2021, at the age of 94, Janet Michael Tsacrios Gavalas of Live Oak, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nic Gavalas; and her parents, Mike Tsacrios and Coula Tsacrios of Live Oak. She is survived by: her siblings, Phyllis and Nicky; her sons, Victor (Mary), Mike (Vicky), George (Mary Gordon) of Tallahassee and Steve of Tampa; her grandchildren, Nicholas V, Janet, Nicholas M, Elleni (Demetrios), Stacey (Matt), Nicholas J (Kendall), John, Alexander, Augustus and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Camden, Paige (Nic) and Olivia (Stacey); her sister Kathleen Tsacrios Talantis of Altamonte Springs; and her close friends, Southwood and Visiting Angels (Chrissy) of Tallahassee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
In memory of Janet, the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church (1645 Phillips Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32308); or to your favorite charity.
