With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Lucas of Live Oak, Florida, born in Dunn, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on August 9, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lucas and Betty Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Angela Lucas McCarthy, Shannon Williams (Ralph), Chris Lucas (Brittany) and Michael Lucas (Rachel); his grandchildren, Drew and Gavin McCarthy; his children, Lucas, Rachel Williams, Sadie and Harrison Lucas; his brother Rev. Wayne Lucas (Ruth); and his mother-in-law Ann Perry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nephew and nieces.
