With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Tyson (Live Oak, Florida), who passed away on May 14, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Tyson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mallory Oliver Smith and Mary Green Smith; her husband Lawrence Clinton Tyson; her daughter Gloria Denise Tyson Carroll; and her siblings, Huford, Aubrey, Quinton, Ralph 'Buck Smith, Marie, Velma and Susan.
She is survived by: her children, Michael W. Tyson (Carol) and Mary 'Ginger Cordle of Virginia; and her granddaughters, Amy Steed (Aaron), Traci McCormick (Rick), Tracy Chouinard (Jean) and Lesley Keen (Kevin). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Community Presbyterian Church.
