He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis A. Gamble and Erma Lanier Gamble; his wife Helen Scott Gamble; and his siblings, John Gamble and Eloise Harrell.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Helen; his children, Paul Gamble (Nancy), Jane Moore (Reed) and Angela Hurst; and his siblings, Rita Burnett, Marlene Smith and Danny Gamble. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, and many unofficially adopted children.
