He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Kraft; his parents, Theo and Bama; and his cousin Nora Mae Fretwell. He is survived by: his children, Linda Burton, Donna Connor (Mark), Samantha Perry Sturdivant and Joseph Perry; and his cousins, Willie Douglas and Judy Edmondson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandsons.
