With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Murphy Laffoon of Live Oak, Florida, born in Panama City, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Murphy and Gladys Murphy; her brothers, Ray Murphy and Edward Murphy; her son Jeffery Laffoon; and her sister Norma Jean Murphy.
She is survived by: her son Leslie Laffoon (Belinda) of Live Oak, FL; her daughter-in-law Anne Laffoon of Atlanta, GA; her siblings, Robert Murphy (Patricia) of Live Oak, FL and Wilma Merritt; and her grandchildren, Amber Laffoon, Kelsey Laffoon and Marissa Laffoon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (401 W Howard St, Live Oak, FL 32064). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
