He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Layton; his children, Gerald Layton (Kelly), Pam Wainwright (Virgil) and Sandra Brannan (Ryan); his sister Judy Smith (Harvey); and his half-sister Kaye Kimble. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
