She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Figgs Sr. and Pearl White Figgs; her husband Calvin Ward Jr.; her siblings, Edward Figgs, Helen Figgs Allen and Shirley Ford; and her son Roderick Figgs.
She is survived by: her daughter Edith Ward; her stepchildren, Eugene Ward and Sabrina Ward Cook; her sister-in-law Lillie Mae Figgs; her daughter Veronica Blunt (Mario); her nieces and nephews, Sharon Jenkins (Eddie), Tracey Allen, Kattie Allen Francis, Jeffery Allen and Marty Allen; and her cousin Esther Wright. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 1:00pm at Live Oak Eastside Memorial Cemetery, 522 Eva Ave. NE, Live Oak, Florida, 32064, "PLEASE AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY, SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE PRACTICED AND WEARING A MASK IS MANDATORY".
