He was predeceased by: his parents, Willmer Smith and Idella Ammons Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Smith; his children, Billy Joe Smith (Stacey), Bobby Joe Smith (Marsha), James Smith, Kellie Sheffield and Nikkie Pruett; his siblings, Shirly Futch and Marvin Smith; and his grandchildren, Marcus, AJ (Ashley), Tara (Jose), Drake, Phoebe, Steven, Trevor (Rebecca), Luke (Madison), Levi, Rodney, Dillion, Dara (Alton), Darron, Kailiegh, Jamie, John, Trent, Trinity, Desarai and Terri. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church (15824 169th Rd, McAlpin, FL 32062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
