With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Nix Abercrombie of Live Oak, Florida, born in Cleveland, Georgia, who passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Ravan Nix and Arnold Nix; her husband Thomas E. Abercrombie, Sr.; her sister Joann Waldrep; and her son Thomas E. Abercrombie, Jr. (Betty).
She is survived by: her brother Hoyt Nix (Nell) of Sarasota, FL; and her daughters, Sandra A. Cornelius (Buddy) of Cornelia, GA and Diane Crews (Doyle). She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight-great grandchildren, seven nieces, and nephews.
