She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Gay and Addie Gay; her stepfather Reid Broadwell (Leslie Broadwell); and her grandson Drew Howell. She is survived by: her husband John William Howell Jr.; her children, John W. Howell III, Kim Howell, Cindy Mills (Todd Mills) and Beth Harris; her grandchildren, Amy Howell, Amber Harris, Jarrod Harris and Ryan Mills; and her great grandchild Brantley Harris.
