We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2024, at the age of 88, James C McCombs of Lithia, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard McCombs and Catherine McCombs (Sullivan); his wife Judith Kay Forgey; and his brother John R. "Bob" McCombs (Joan). He is survived by: his brother George M. "Mac" McCombs; his nieces and nephews, David McCombs (Linda), Michael McCombs, Deb Karabin (Jim) and Lisa Hawkins (Dan); his great-nieces, Molly McCombs, Kezhia Karabin, Kate Hawkins (Rob), Maggie McCombs and Jessica McCombs; and also Raegan LaMon.

In lieu of flowers, Jim requested donations be made to a favorite charity. A few of his favorite charities included the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and the Moffitt Cancer Center.
