She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Walters and Velma Walters (Pressley); her husband Grant Underwood; her sons, Ronald and Donald Underwood; and her grandchildren, Chris Harris and Frances Underwood.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa Wise, Margaret Underwood, Sam Underwood and Robert Underwood (Christy); and her sisters, Vita Ingle and Pat Lunsford (Lonnie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
